I first discovered Hatha Yoga in 1994, when it was offered as one of the many student activities at the University of Chicago.  And I've returned to yoga again and again, for months or years at a time.  I've practiced yoga as a way of enhancing athletic endurance, and I've practiced yoga as a way to have fun with my (then) small children.  But yoga didn't become an integrated part of my life until 2011, when a stress-induced health crisis drove me to seek healing in meditation.  Meditation sparked a devoted daily practice and journey of study and exploration that continues to this day, and I hope to share some of the peace, love and joy that yoga has brought to my life.
